When a new housing development is
created, more often than not, new roads
and footpaths will need to be designed and
constructed, usually in line with the
specification of the Local Authority, in
readiness for adoption when the
development is complete.
For your developments TDS can liaise with the Local Authority and contractors to secure adoption of all highway infrastructure. We can also manage the surfacing of the roads and footpaths, and ensure that all street furniture and ancillary structures are in place and working properly. |

Most new developments need drainage
to serve the properties, some of which will
be adopted by the Local Water Authority,
TDS can liaise with the Water Authority to
inspect the completed works and produce a remedial
list of works, but only that which is necessary
to bring the manholes and ancillary
structures to an adoptable standard,
before engaging with contractors to ensure
everything is completed and can be adopted.

|
It can regularly be the case when working
to have highways and drainage systems
adopted, to have associated issues, which
often need to be resolved with residents and
third parties. In these cases TDS can deal
directly with the resident or third party on
your behalf and, if necessary, arrange for
any work to be completed using reputable
and proven contractors.

On many developments, particularly
the larger ones, there can be other
issues relating to the development such
as problems with driveways, trees, play
areas, ponds, vandalism and the like,
all of which TDS can resolve on your
behalf, leaving you free to concentrate
on today's and tomorrow's business with
minimal involvement from yourselves.
